How Does the Plasma IQ™ System Work?
When the Plasma IQ™ electrode tip is hovered just above the surface of the skin, nitrogen gas particles in the air are ionized in a precise, controlled manner creating a plasma energy arc. As the plasma arc reaches the skin, it vaporizes a single spot on the upper layers of the skin, causing immediate contraction and tightening as the energy travels into the deeper skin layers. This is then repeated throughout the treatment zone. Tiny, brown crusts are formed over the micro-injuries. These micro-injuries stimulate fibroblast activity in the dermis, leading to more collagen and elastin production over the next few months, tightening loose tissue, plumping the skin, and diminishing lines.

What to Expect after your Plasma IQ™ Treatment
Once topical numbing cream takes effect, most people report feeling only a slight tingling or burning sensation. Skin is pink afterward and may feel like a mild sunburn. Tiny, brown carbon crusts or scabs may form over each treatment point. These crusts may linger for approximately a week. If the eyes are treated, swelling may also occur and last several days.
