Jenny joined Been Facial Plastics in 2020 bringing with her over 16 years’ experience. After graduating high school, she quickly earned her Certified Nursing Assistant credentials and worked as a medical assistant for a chiropractic practice. She then became a vet tech and surgical assistant at a veterinary clinic. Deciding she wanted to work once again with patients of the human variety, she returned to working as a medical assistant this time for an obstetrics and gynecology practice. Most recently, she worked for a combined general surgeon and colorectal specialist practice as a medical and surgical assistant—she’s done it all! Jenny works closely with Dr. Geeta Been and is happy to answer any questions about your eye care and treatment plan!

As one of the first faces you will encounter at our office, Laurie started with Been Facial Plastics in 2019 as an administrative assistant, but she was quickly promoted to Office Manager. With a degree from Robert Morris College in Chicago, Laurie spent the first half of her career working in the legal field before switching to the world of medical administration. She honed her knowledge of medical office management working for a large orthopedic surgery practice for 17 years before joining our team with her expert skill set.  If you elect to have surgery with Dr. Mark or Dr. Geeta, you will have the pleasure of getting to know Laurie as she finds the perfect surgery date for you! 

Certified as a surgical technician in 2005, Jackie began accumulating her vast surgical knowledge at Good Samaritan Hospital assisting in a wide variety of surgeries encompassing everything from body and facial plastics to trauma to orthopedics and beyond. She then spent six years at Good Shepherd Hospital, where she was introduced to Drs. Mark and Geeta Been. Seeking more direct patient interaction, Jackie transitioned into private practice in 2015, working exclusively in facial plastics. She worked with the Beens first in Barrington and then became instrumental in helping them launch Been Facial Plastics in Geneva.

Excited to work with patients on their surgical journey, Jackie strives to help patients feel at ease, sharing not only her knowledge and expertise but also her warm sense of humor.

Part of the Been Facial Plastics family since 2020, Andrea brings her mastery of billing and coding to the role of Billing Manager. As a physician-based Certified Coding Specialist, she worked with a well-known plastic surgeon for six years as his office and billing manager before establishing her own billing company in 2007. Her staff of 18 served clients from a wide array of medical specialties for over 13 years. After years spent managing her business and juggling multiple clients, Andrea opted to return her focus to a single practice, and Been Facial Plastics is happy to have her! Adept in all aspects of healthcare billing, Andrea is glad to help you navigate your insurance and healthcare benefits.

With eight years of experience as a licensed esthetician, Amy brings a diverse background in dermatology and medical spa settings to Been Facial Plastics. Her passion for skincare and aesthetics comes from helping patients feel confident in their skin while providing personalized, results-driven care. Amy specializes in non-surgical facial rejuvenation, with a particular interest in skin rejuvenation, anti-aging, and acne treatments. She is certified through the National Laser Institute of Chicago and has experience with a variety of advanced laser treatments. Always continuing to expand her knowledge in the ever-evolving field of aesthetics, Amy takes the time to understand each patient’s individual goals and creates customized treatment plans to help them achieve beautiful, natural-looking results.

Hunter brings over five years of experience working in hospitals, clinics, and nonprofit healthcare settings. Holding a Bachelor of Science degree, she has had the opportunity to work alongside physicians, specialized therapists, and patients of all ages, including time spent with clinical teams within the BJC HealthCare network at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. At Been Facial Plastics, Hunter draws on her background in regulatory compliance and process improvement to help keep our office running smoothly and efficiently. She has a genuine passion for helping others and takes pride in making sure every patient who walks through our doors feels welcomed, cared for, and confident in their experience with our team.
