What to Expect after your Kybella® treatment
Following the injections, some patients describe a tingling or slight burning sensation. Swelling and mild bruising may also result. Icing the area is particularly soothing after this procedure. To further reduce the risk of bruising, we request you do not take any blood-thinning products (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil) one week before the procedure. Afterward, you can wear makeup immediately to cover the area. The effects of Kybella® will manifest over the days and weeks following treatment. To achieve desired results, more than one series of injections may be necessary.
