Icon™ MaxG IPL
The MaxG is the cornerstone method for targeting unwanted facial pigment and vessels. This treatment uses broad-spectrum light energy to remove blemishes via the body’s natural healing responses.
1540 nm Laser Skin Renewal
The 1540 nm handpiece uses non-ablative fractionated energy that penetrates below the surface of the skin to affect deeper layers that contribute to skin laxity, fine lines and wrinkles. These treatments may also be used to smooth and soften acne and post-surgical scars.
What to Expect Post Procedure
One of the best features of the Cynosure Icon™ platform is the minimal downtime associated with treatments. The procedures themselves are generally very well tolerated with topical numbing alone. Patients may experience some mild swelling and skin erythema following the treatments. These issues typically resolve within 24 hours.
Because of the less invasive nature of these treatments, most patients undergo a series of treatments over the span of 2-3 months. With each treatment, better and longer-lasting results can be achieved.
